There are two basic EcoListening courses that we offer regularly every year:
The Introductory Course and the complete Fundamentals Course (that is also offered by modules).
Here you can find out about each one:

Introductory Course

A total of 10 weeks, or 2 1/2 months. These 5 theory-practice classes + 5 practice-theory classes are sufficient to give us the basic tools and confidence we need to begin the great adventure that is EcoListening.

Dates are flexible according to the preferences of the group.

Module 1 of the Fundamentals Course can also be considered an introductory course, and is offered twice per year, in March and September. (See below.)

1) The Origins of EcoListening - 22 Oct 12
The history; how it is used effectively; examples of good use and how it has changed people's lives; how this model is being used in radical, social change movements; how to start and practice and ... we begin!

2) Beginning the Practice - 29 Oct 12
A class workshop, focusing on practice: reviewing the previous class; live demonstrations with participants;  individual counseling; questions & answers.

3) The Basic Theory - 5 Nov 12
We explain the simple but revolutionary model that was discovered 50 years ago by the pioneers of the Co-Counseling movement, which is the basis of all practice.

4) Practices to Follow - 12 Nov 12
The second class workshop, focusing on the practice: reviewing the previous class; live demonstrations with participants; individual counseling; questions & answers.

5) Intermittent and Chronic Patterns - 19 Nov 12
What often confuses us is how people around us (and even we) can act rationally one minute and then irrationally the next. This problem is explained and practical tools are offered.

6) Practices for Re-emergence - 26 Nov 12
The third class workshop, focusing on practice: reviewing the previous class; live demonstrations with participants; individual counseling; questions & answers.

7) Early Memories - 3 Dec 12
The sooner distress patterns are installed, the more fundamental they become in building our habits for reacting and also the easier they can be found to be descharged in an effective and permanent way.

8) Practices to Discharge - 10 Dic 12
Fourth class workshop, focusing on practice: reviewing the previous class; live demonstrations about listening to early memories;  individual counseling; questions & answers.

9) The Importance of Long Term Goals - 17 Dec 12
We finish with a class that looks towards the future, and gives us very effective tools to plan with the attention of another person and fitting our decisions in a global context.

10) Final Celebration - 22&23 Dec 12
We Celebrate the Solstice in a weekend conference on intensive practice with all the group, in which:
A) we say goodbye, appreciating each person for the gifts they have brought to the course and to our lives, and
B) we also use the strength of the group to think intensely about our plans for the new year, and how they can include, identify and commit us to leave behind the patterns that have blocked us in the past.
